If you were to ask the average person what exercises will improve heart health most if not all will tell you that cardio works best

 

And well, that makes sense because it is called “cardiovascular training” right?

 

But what most will miss is that you don’t need to just plod along on a treadmill or exercise bike to improve your heart and lung health.

 

Resistance training is an awesome way to train both your aerobic and anaerobic fitness which helps build your cardiovascular (Heart) conditioning and strength.

 

That’s why at Realfit we use resistance training in a circuit fashion and train our athletes both aerobically and anaerobically to get the best results in heart health and generally getting into their best shape.
