BEEF & CAULIFLOWER BURGER

INGREDIENTS

  • One medium Cauliflower
  • 14 oz/ 396 grams ground beef
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
  • olive oil
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Onion slices
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Ketchup or any sauce
  • salt and black pepper

 

METHOD

  1. Set oven to 425º and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Now, add grated cauliflower, cheese, and eggs to a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper for taste – mix it well.
  3. Make patties with the cauliflower mixture and place them on prepared baking sheets – sprinkle sesame seeds and bake for 25 minutes.
  4. Now make beef patties and season them with salt and pepper. Add oil and cook these for 4 minutes on each side in a pan.
  5. Now assemble it into burgers by placing cauliflower patties at the bottom.
  6. Add lettuce leaves, onion rings, beef petty, ketchup, and tomato in the same order. Lastly, add another baked cauliflower patty, and your high protein diet-friendly burgers are ready to eat.
