​​At Realfit we pride ourselves on being a gym for all ages and all abilities, that’s why we started our senior movement classes. We run 9 classes per week; 10:15am, 11am and 1:30pm on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s. Each session is 30 minutes long and they are pay as you go at £5 each session.

​​Our sessions will help to improve all parts of the body and keep you as fit as possible! It is also a great way to meet new people within the community.

​​Exercise has a number of benefits for those of all ages, including a healthier heart, stronger muscles and improved flexibility. For seniors, there are even more benefits, it has been proven that regular exercise reduces the risk of chronic diseases, lowers the chance of injury and will improve someone’s mood. These are all very important in everyday life to keep us going and help us to stay healthy not just mentally, but physically too.

​​On top of this, balance and stability is a key part of moving around. This can sometimes be a weak area in seniors, you will see a massive improvement in all of the above if you look to attend this class and leave you feeling great.
